Every restaurant has an age-old debate: Can the front of house team really come into the kitchen and handle the heat? And are the back of house staff truly just curmudgeon grumps, or can they actually create a fun, entertaining night for guests? At Cornicello, we're ready to answer these questions once and for all. We're incredibly excited to announce our first-ever charity event, "The Great Reversal," a night that promises to be full of spicy mystery and fun. This incredible idea came from our very own Sous Chef, Anthony, and we are so proud to make it a reality. ________________________________________ What is The Great Reversal? On this special night, we are flipping our roles completely. Our talented kitchen staff will step out onto the floor as hosts, servers, and bartenders, while our amazing front-of-house team will take over the kitchen, running the line and tackling the dish pit. This isn’t just about raising money—it’s about stepping into each other's shoes to truly understand and appreciate the hard work everyone puts in every single day. The entire sales from this event will be donated to two incredible organizations that support our restaurant peers who have fallen on hard times: the Restaurant Workers Community Foundation (RWCF) and The Giving Kitchen. This is our chance to give back and show the world what the Ober Easy Family Restaurant Group is all about—community, compassion, and caring for our own. By taking on new roles, our team will gain a newfound empathy for their teammates, truly realizing what it's like to walk in each other's shoes. ________________________________________ Event Details •Venue: Cornicello and sottoCello •Date: Tuesday, November 11th •Seating Times: We will have two seatings at 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM. •Party Size: We can accommodate parties of up to 10 guests. •Menu: Executive Chef Josh will create a special three-course menu for the evening, featuring: oCourse 1: An appetizer from several choices (description forthcoming) oCourse 2: An entree from several choices (description forthcoming) oCourse 3: A dessert from several choices (description forthcoming); including coffee or espresso •Tickets: $100 per person. •What's Included: The three-course meal is included in the ticket price.
